In the 1920s, if you were called a "Cat," you were a guy who was quick on his feet, resourceful, and slightly aloof. In this series, "The Wisdom of Cats" is a play on words. I enjoy the thought of A Literary Cat - well-read and thoughtful and perhaps have a little more time to dream about loftier pursuits.
When my children were little, I printed out about 20 posters from my small HP printer of positive quotes and affirmations, and hung them in our kitchen, alongside the food pyramid and the notebook where I charted their to-do list. My children still talk about these "posters" and the influence of these wise words had in their life. Some posters were thoughtful, and others were uplifting and joy-fill and sometimes funny!
