THE TREE OF LIFE
The dawn of a new day and a rapidly dissipating Milky Way converge deep in the heart of the Florida Everglades. I got to this location just in time, the sky was turning a light blue as dawn approached and the Milky Way was fast disappearing. Standing there looking at the Milky Way I was reminded of how grand the universe is and how small we really are.
The Florida Everglades and Big Cypress National Preserve have some of the darkest skies in the state of Florida and make for great viewing of the Milky Way and the night sky. If you visit darksitefinder.com you can find the nearest dark sky location near you and take a trip to see the Milky Way. It is worth your time and I highly recommend it.
