The Sweet Spot Or Bill's Backside
Photograph - Photo Painting
Looking down on the Buffalo Bill Reservoir from my lofty perch on Sheep Mountain, there is a tree framing this photograph on my right. In the center of the image, where the mountains form a natural bottle neck along the north fork of the Shoshone River, the Buffalo Bill Dam, originally named the Shoshone Dam, has turned the Bighorn Basin from a semi-arid sagebrush covered plain into a productive agricultural land. The dam was built between 1905 and 1910. On this summer afternoon in June, I could not have asked for a more beautiful day. Believe me, I'm grateful. Repainted in Corel.
