This painting was inspired by a kitty my husband (Larry) and I met while visiting friends in Oregon. The day was filled with incredible art, great company, scrumptious food and fine wine. At this point you might be wondering how this day could get any better. I thought the same thing and then along came this beautiful calico cat. She spent the entire day with us, lounging about on the deck, occasionally batting at fallen fuchsias and just enjoying the same great company we did!
I could hardly wait to get home and start this painting of her.
