Do it. Stand for what you believe and know in your heart is right. Speak up. Take action. Dare. Find your voice and make sure you're heard. Be you, not what anyone else wants you to be. This is not what you will regret at the far end of the road... bowing to the wishes of others in conflict with your own or failing to leap because you fear the unknown is a direct path to unhappiness. Regret nothing.
