This majestic stone building of the old City Hall in Richmond Virginia (USA) is one of my favorite landmarks to photograph at any season, spring or fall. It is also one of the most prominent landmarks of the capital of Virginia, and a travel destination spot for those , who choose RVA photo walkabouts as their way to creatively spend their vacation or free time. Now a private office building, this Victorian Gothic building used to be Richmond's city hall from 1894. The building was saved from demolition by the Historic Richmond Foundation. Visitors welcome on the first floor only. The building is open during normal business hours.
