This unique wooden statue or sculpture is visible in an antique store on Magaine Street in the Garden District of new Orleans, Louisiana the metamorphous of Blue Morpho this wooden sculpture is hand carved. This photo was taken with a Nikon 820 wide angle manual night time settings through the store front glass window. This unique photo would be ideal for any butterfly print collector or interior decorator to display on any suitable wall space.This photo one of a new series titled The Light Upon The Blue Morpho Butterfly. After careful research I have discovered this piece was sculptured out of a single dead tree perhaps sculptured by the world reknown sculptors since I have no clue I will credit either or Lara Donatonai Matana or Henrique Oliveira of Brazil.....with my respects. The sculptor is unknown otherwise. With the power vested in me as a photographer and artist I do no declare my Morpho Butterfly Man a national citizen of the United States. A recent discovery on line has revealed my Morpho Butterfly Man may have distant ancestors or cousins. Tis wonderful image was taken with a Nikon 820 manual settings macro zoom, The Morpho Butterfly Man would be ideal to any antique collector or lover of wood carvings or sculpture. Because of its whimsical appeal would cheer up any living space wall.
