The Joy of Design Mandala Series Puzzle 8 Arrangement 3 Inverted by Helena Tiainen is built with 64 panel scans of selected eight original paintings in The Joy of Design Series in altered positions. There are eight of the each eight paintings in this compilation. In this inverted version the colors are reversed from the original. These playful works are about changing perspectives and changing perceptions. Things look different when the pieces come together in different order and also in different colors. I am using this as a metaphor for the forever presence of potential for change.
