I have to admit my love for trees, a great sight when out for a wander on a hill and on woodland walks. No matter the season, winter, spring, summer and fall, the tree stands tall, towering in beauty regardless of all that surrounds it.

My personal favourite is the winter tree when the tree is stripped bare of its leaves, evergreens are great, but you cannot beat the skeletal figure of a winter tree. This collection of trees is a mixture of art and photography from some of my previous walks, you’ll find the original photos in my Edinburgh and Beyond collections.

I’ve added an art effects to some the trees in this collection, adding two different effects to each image, I hope you like the outcome. I love playing around with my photography, most of these images are shot in the Raw format with a few added filters.
