Description
I happened to see this elegant weed growing alone at the side of the house. It made such a simple statement against the white,stucco that I just had to photograph it. I wasn't sure what to do with the photo but kept it. The movement of the thin green leaves and the sway of the stalk with its tiny brown seed pods suggest a sweet and gentle rhythm against the course background. In the end, I came to realized one of the reason I loved this image was its minimalism.
