Description
This was such an imposing, ominous looking storm cloud formation rolling in, I though for sure a tornados were going to form (fairly rare here in Rhode Island). Fortunately, none developed, just winds with torrential downpours, thank God.

Mother nature..so beautiful and yet so powerful! I'd be like "a deer in headlights," knowing I should run but too awe struck to move. Fantastic capture Rick! L/F
Rick Maxwell replied:
Well put, Kathy. I'm always mesmerized when I see a storm moving in. Foolishly, maybe, set my chair up just at the entrance to my garage and watch Mother Nature's free firework display. I can't resist the temptation. Thank you for your reply. Aloha, Max

Wow, this is so cool! What a great capture. It looks so powerful
Rick Maxwell replied:
Fortunately, like I said in the description, no tornadoes, which are fairly rare around these parts. But, yeah, every once in awhile one of these storms will roll in and they are pretty imposing to witness. Thanks for responding to the photo, Nicklas. It's always appreciated! Peace, Max
