THE BRIDGERS Waking UP
I was inspired to do this last fall and only recently found myself in a position to paint it. This is actually a late winter view. I know those mountains well so was able to do this from memory. My intuitive approach to painting has really freed me up. Throughout the day when I see something I love, I try to plant it in my memory. Then when I paint those views that have the most effect are the ones that come out. With no scale its hard to visualize the size! Who has space for this??? It was fun. I am not sure I am done.... but it will rest for a bit.
