There is a place just outside of Waikiki. A cement mountain of a shopping mall greets you if you look mauka (toward the mountains). But look makai (toward the sea) and you be greeted by this beautiful little bridge. It seems so out of place that it grabs your eyes immediately.
If water flows to the sea, the reflections on the water can seem to take you to another place.It is an irony that you can be stuck in traffic, a mountain of cement blocking our mountainous view, and then you can be drawn to this little bridge that will take your imagination away.
It is "The Bridge at Ala Moana Park"
