Description

A thoroughbreds muscle structure is complex and more profound than the normal horse due to the exercise routines in preparations for a race. When at the track I pay close attention to the conformation. Thoroughbreds are very special athletes in the horse world. Secretariat is perhaps the best known racehorse and is my all time favorite. It seems magical to watch him run and gives me goosebumps as I know the feeling of a well tuned race horse. This horse in my drawing appears to almost come out of the picture due to the shading and shadow which make it appear that a ground is there even though it is just space. I love the look of a horse on paper and enjoy working with a Bic Pen to do my work.
