Description
This is one of a series of shots emphasizing the beauty of garlic. The curves of a clove are graceful and elegant, while subtle warm and cool hues comprise its translucent skin. I have used filters on this particular image to create a subtle painted effect and bring out the tinges of green that complement the orange tones.
Food is a fascinating subject for artistic development. It's readily available as part of our lives and takes new forms each day. Sometimes my meal-making is hijacked by the need to preserve a view of produce, a cooked dish, or utensil arrangement in my kitchen!
