Description
Built in 1723, the Bafferton on the campus of the College of William and Mary, was first built to educate the Native American's to be Christian Clergymen and missionaries for their people. The Native American's were purchased and captured then sent to this building for education. The school closed its doors for good in 1779 by Thomas Jefferson. It is now used for offices and meetings. It is a magnificent building roughly fifty-two feet tall and thirty-four feet deep!
