Description
Beautiful patterns created by nature in this sandstone rock formation fronting onto the beach. To me it resembles the face of a crab with eyes, mouth and crab claws.
Captured at Pearl Beach, Central Coast, New South Wales, australia.

Do you know, Kaye? I also see the crab as an other version! I wanted to mention it. I love stories, I can help it, Kaye.

Thank you so much Nicole for your comment and for describing what you see here. I think I can also see some of what you see. It's funny, as myself and another friend on Flickr discussed this and we both thought it looked like a large crab, sort of with indented features. The two eyes and nose are indented, and the mouth is the dark line under the ledge in the middle of the shot. The rocks coming down in the foreground are his nippers. It's a load of fun looking for these visions. Thanks again Nicole for your kind words and V?F.

I see so many figures, Kaye. Well, just fot the fun of it, I will describe what I see. Promise me not to laugh too hard, Kaye. I see two skulls on top; one of a man (at 11:00 O'clock), one of an animal (at 12:00 O'clock). there is a monkey guarding the entrance at the top of those ascending stairs. Finally, I see two ramping reptiles like figures. Watch out!!! Is it a way for nature to mimic us! "The Art of Nature" that is. This is incredible! Great shot of nature seen through the eyes of a true artist. Thanks, Kaye. I really enjoy your fascinating patterns created by nature! (v/f)
