Description
This shot was taken in the early 1960's in Crestline, Ohio near the round house. The engineer is on the right, Then the conductor, then the train firemen and finally the caboose operator. My great uncle is in this photograph and is the firemen and 2nd from left. My great uncle retired in 1962 so others could have a chance to get a job working on the railroad.
Back in these days a job with the railroad was very hard work and there was never a day when these guys never got dirty.
