Description
This little pastel was done of one of the rarer of the Texas native wild cats, the Ocelot. Less than one hundred I believe live in Texas and most of those are along the border at the Atacosa Wildlife Refuge in south Texas. They are doing wonderful things to restore their habitat and create safe passage areas under highways as this is one of the number one ways they are killed in Texas. There's even a person license plate that you can get with an Ocelot to help protect them. I did this on blue hued paper with pastel pencils, something new for me. Thanks for looking!
