Every morning I hear a Red Tail Hawk, sometimes known as a Chicken Hawk, calling out. I sat outside and watched the hawk surveying his territory and waited patiently for take off from the perch. I cannot tell if this is a male or female, my guess is a male. The only way to tell is by their size as the female is noticeably larger than the male. Thankfully they are not on the endangered species list! They mate for life, and the male is very involved in caring for their offspring. He will even take over as mom if something happens to his mate.
I used multiple layers and filters to achieve this paintography look.
