Symphony Of Silence
Hanne Lore Koehler
Painting - Oil On Canvas
This large oil on canvas painting features magnificent Mount Rainier at sunset as sub-Alpine meadows of blue lupine grace the banks of Edith Creek which meanders from the mountain and spills over Myrtle Falls just below the bridge view of this painting. Streams of evening sunshine seem to dance through golden rising mists to the soothing sounds of Myrtle Falls below my feet creating a delightful symphony of silence in tune with nature.
This large 6 ft. x 4 ft. oil on canvas painting of Mount Rainier with its misty valley of Lupine meadows and evergreens that line the banks of Edith Creek was commissioned by a design firm from Virginia to hang in the new Spirit Center at NICOE's Joint Base Lewis McChord, WA.
