Description
Every so often there is an astronomical phenomenon called the Super Moon. This one occurred in June 2013 over us in Northern Illinois. The moon is very difficult to photograph due to the extreme contrast between the moons luminance and the pitch black night sky. This night showed clouds along with the moon giving more dimension and texture to the sky surrounding the moon. This rendition required additional post-processing in order to see all the detail provided in the exposure.
