A brilliant sunset in the Florida Everglades at the end of a summer day. Florida's rainy season lasts for a long time and sometimes we have several days in a row of rainy and overcast skies. But these days can sometimes produce the most brilliant sunsets as the clouds clear at the end of the day. This was one of those days. It didn't look like it would be much of a sunset....and it wasn't. I started packing up my gear and then a few minutes after the sun went down the skies just lit up. I had forgotten that sometimes you have to wait just a little bit longer to see something amazing! Lesson learned...
