Description
This amazing sunflower field is located just outside Delta, Colorado and is the first one I’ve ever seen first hand. However, I’m told that there were a few farms which raised some of these giant sunflowers as experimental crops around Olathe, Colorado in the mid 1990s. Now there are sunflower farms in many temperate regions of the U.S. and Canada. The bright analogous oranges and yellows of the blooms against the blues of not too distant Grand Mesa create a stunning complimentary color scheme for this photograph.
