My beautiful daughter brought home some flowers for Mother's Day. Needless to say, I was really touched with her thoughts and demonstration of love and adoration for her mum. This is a gorgeous Dahlia in the arrangement of flowers. I love the bright pink almost purple shades with the yellow dancing in the middle. There was a slight rain this morning, and the raindrops on the flower are so bright and cheerful. The growing season in Maine is short and we have had a really cold and damp spring. Hopefully with the summer solstice tomorrow, we will change the trend and have some warmer temperatures and more sun!
