SUMMER STORMS Rough Cut
#48 5.24.2019 Oil on 12 x 5 1/2 inch rough cut wood. Looking out at the sun setting on this not so warm summer night I am reminded of the fun of seeing the sky and running into to capture it on wood with oils. The abstract effect of this way of painting give me a rush of good feeling and appreciation for where I live. Its always eye candy when I look out at the horizon. Alla Prima once again!
