Succulent Greens Close Up Another View
Photograph - Photograph
This is a very close view of a Hens and Chicks succulent cactus as the leaves grow out in an arching angle. This view also gives a slight abstract impression.
Hens and Chicks (Sempervivum tectorum) plants are native to Europe and Asia but are seen in the western region of the United States as they have no trouble growing there and are easy growers. The Hen part of the plant is like a mother plant and small outcroppings from the plant are called the Chicks. They will have flowers in the summer, tiny pink-red ones. They are drought tolerant and can grow in full sun.
