As an artist, the idea of success is a far gone thought. With so many of us, and such a lack of interest from thenpublic, one would just want to give up. But what makes some of us keep going on and on, even when we want to smash all our work? The idea that we may one day succeed in gaining the favor of patrons, catching the eyes of those who may find interest, and may even understand our vision. But most importantly is, we must do it because it is an extension of we artists. We need to succeed, even if that success is only purging our inner darkness or our need to create something from nothing!
