Description
Walking along the tree lined path in Mackle Park, takes you over the walk bridge. In March there were turtles and nesting fish near the bridge, along with many species of fishing birds around the lake. Many pedestrians, bicycles, and dog walkers enjoy the blooms of many trees and shrubs, such as this Golden Trumpet Tree (aka Tabebuia) that is lit up by the late afternoon sun. Mackle Park is on Marco Island in the southwest part of Florida.
