Recovery takes GUTS! It is difficult, but it is a realistic and achievable goal...PROVIDED one wants it!
Step 2 states that we come to the understanding that we cannot do it alone, but with a POWER that is greater than ourselves. This POWER will help restore us to sanity...where insanity has lived for so long.
Supporting this simple belief, is found in scripture 2 Corinthians 5:14-15. Simply stated, Paul writes that the LOVE of Christ CONTROLS us...so that those who live would not longer live for THEMSELVES.
What a divine revelation...so simple. All we have to do is to give up that control we held so closely and so dear to us, that it got in our way to full RECOVERY!
