A truly foggy day was upon us this morning. It seems like it has rained for weeks here, but I do love the sound. The silence was there in the mist, except for the songs of birds, beautiful nature surrounding us in the rain. You wonder what the Universe is thinking on days like this where no matter how hard you strain your eyes, it is impossible to see even ten feet beyond the shoreline. Vast gray sky, silhouette of trees, and that overwhelming appreciation that you are able to see it... I was thinking of a quote I read. "If one does not sit back & sum up & say to this moment, this very moment, stay - you are so fair, what will be one's gain? dying? No: stay this moment! No one ever says that enough." Virginia Woolf
