Description

The fountain at Forsythe Park in Savannah, Georgia is always green on Saint Patrick's Day! This image was taken on a lovely March 17th morning when the city's celebration was a little more subdued than the normal marking of this yearly holiday due to Covid restrictions. Just a few people were enjoying a stroll through the park to observe the occasion. Azaleas and camellias, two hallmarks of spring in Savannah, were just starting to pop and added a wonderful bit of color to the landscape. I have digitally enhanced my original photograph to achieve a more painterly presentation.
