Magnolia - This beautiful tree is on my front lawn. It reminds me of my mother, for she loved the magnolia tree on our front lawn, where I grew up. When I was just a kid, I hated this tree, with the exception it was a great climbing tree. The petals were a real pain in the butt!! Every year, I probably fell 2-3 times because when the pedals drop to the ground, they become very slippery. I would rake them up and then more would fall. How I can remember how my Mom loved that tree. And now, this tree reminds me of her. Happy Early Mother's Day, Mom....thinking of you!!
