Description
This is part of my American Indian series; iconic, abstract and semi-realistic. Plus it has wildlife of the Northwest. This is my version of the NW Pacific Indian tribes and their artistic symbols. I have grown up on or near 7 Indian Reservations, especially Neah Bay on the Makah Indian Reservation in the state of Washington. My uncle is a full blooded Navajo (and we have a bit of Cherokee, perhaps 1/16th) I have always studied world and local history, especially the Am. Indian)
