Description
The advances in space technology and discoveries are fascinating to me. It all began when I was a child lying on a blanket spread out on our back lawn with my mom and dad looking up at the stars on warm summer evenings. There was no air conditioning in those days, so when it was hot in the house, this was a fun way to cool off. There were very few city lights in the 1950's to contaminate the view. As my dad told stories of space, we always kept our eyes open scanning the starry night sky for meteorites, satellites and sputnik1 and we were never disappointed. Good times!
My SPACE TIME CONTINUUM digital image was created from a photo of my parents' grandfather clock face, so the concept of space and time combined with the happy memories are especially meaningful to me.
