Pueo feathers represent wisdom and perseverance. Lauhala for bonded strength amongst Soldiers. Shark teeth represent the Fighters and Infantry. 2 rows of triangles represent spear heads for warriors, and the checker pattern on the ribs represent the bond of the Unit - The 299 Infantry Battalion.
