Description
This little guy stays with us from time to time. He is full of adventure, and lots of tot energy. On Mothers Day this year, we brought his mom and him to a local park to do some photography of them. Originally a photograph, this candid moment was captured when he decided he was done having his picture taken.
He has a smile that melts my heart, and those eyes totally captivate me. In painting this image (based on the photograph), I wanted to really express the joy and laughter of a toddler climbing up the big kid slide, looking back just to see what the reaction is going to be, smiling and knowing looking that cute, he can get away with just about anything.
