Description
Even though the models predicted we'd be able to see the aurora borealis in our area this evening, you can see from this photo that we were well south of the view line. Nonetheless, this six minute exposure captured a nice shooting star, and the full moon nicely illuminated the trees in the area, giving the image a warmer sense of twilight (it was shot at 2:10 am).
