I spotted this handsome guy as I was driving out to a local park. I love horses, so I pulled over and walked up to the fence to take his photo. As soon as he saw me, he started toward me. He walked up to the fence, and even though I didn't have any treats to offer, allowed me to scratch his head, and followed me along the fence. These kinds of experiences make my heart warm. He had such a sweet and gentle disposition, I kind of hated to leave him. I'm sure he gets lots of love from his owners, and he certainly has a beautiful place to hang out. The color pattern is known as skewbald, which is white with brown or chestnut. Pinto is a broader term that includes white and any other color. The facial color pattern is known as "medicine hat", which is a white face with brown cap and ears.
