Description
My fondest memories of growing up in Zimbabwe are of visiting my grandparents who lived on a farm and I was a bit obsessed with their chickens. I loved feeding them and collecting their eggs. I even used to pick up a couple of the more tolerant hens and cuddle them. This fine cockerel is a handsome chap with his high conrasting white and black plumage, his tail feathers gleaming with a teal sheen. The breed is proud mascot of the town of Dorking in Surrey close to where I now live.
