This verse has been a favorite of mine for a very long time. If you have ever cared for the young, a child, or a puppy....any baby, you know it slows you down. You cannot take life at the same pace as without young. In turn, this verse reminds me to slow down. My young will not be young forever, and while I have them God knows my pace needs to go gently.
