Park rangers require a bit of schooling and experience (not to mention knowing someone who knows someone). If retired then just apply for any simple temporary job at the park (gas station attendant, grocery shop cashier, front desk attendant, etc.) . Nothing is permanent anyways. Do your research. But just remember to bring your camera!! You'll have the opportunity to be the next Ansel Adams for sure!! :)
