Seclusion At Delicate Arch
No, we weren't all alone at Delicate Arch outside of our workshop but for the most part, we had it all to ourselves. And with the increasing popularity of Delicate Arch, this is becoming more rare. On this night with a thin moon setting to the west, it was a lot of fun seeing such a beautiful scene and some seclusion to go with it.
How I Got The Shot
I shot 5 vertical frames with about 50% overlap to get what I needed for stitching them together later on. When shooting, I used the same exposure settings and a custom white balance set at 3800K to keep the colors from changing within the sequence. Then at home, I stitched the frames together in Lightroom using the boundary warp tool to fix my corners. Finally, in Photoshop, I removed my feet that were sticking into the shot in both bottom corners.
