Description
American Bison (Bison bison) in snowstorm with a scary look in its eye as it plods through the snow in Yellowstone National Park in May. Perhaps I should be afraid of the bison, but I truly love these beasts and can never have too many photos of them! Just so you know, I do respect the bison and give them their space.

Ha, ha, Kellice! I totally love watching and photographing bison, but I do keep my distance. I'm quite certain this shot was made from my vehicle. Thank you for the support!!!

Thank you so much, Donna! Yellowstone can have snow any time which is one of the big draws for me. It's hard to believe we can't visit now with the fall colors. A little snow on colorful leaves...

I love this winter shot with the snow on the trees and on his shaggy coat! I can't help but feel sorry for all the animals out in the snow making it through a long winter though.. I know they are used to it, but it can be pretty hard at times. f/v
Sue Smith replied:
Thank you, Kenny! Bison fascinate me. How can they even move with those skinny legs under those huge bodies?
