I was looking for a multicolored sunset at Buck Hall Camprounds, north of Charleston, in McClellanville, but didn't get one while we camped there. What I did get is a study in contrasts. It was low tide at sunset. All the textures were on display, the dock against the water, the tree silhouettes, the dock lit by the fading sunset. Would this be grand in a high gloss metal or acrylic print over a fireplace? What a statement piece. Photographed in February.
