Santee River Twins
Photograph - Photograph
Late and early day photography shots, even in winter offer up rich, colorful river scenes and this wonderful day in January was no exception. The South Santee River is mirroring Bald Cyprus trees leaning over the river and it's banks from a kayak I was in, meandering down the river near sunset. I was invited to try out a kayak you propel using your feet which allows your hands to shoot a camera. I was gone for maybe 10 minutes when I caught this mirrored image. I love this photo more every time I view. There are just some shots that call for black and white photography and this is one of them.
Also available in color.
