I took this black and white photograph while standing atop a stairwell at the Hearst Castle in San Simeon.
This is one of the most peaceful areas of California. The rolling hills and Pacific Coastline begin to turn into the Big Sur at this point while heading north. And a glance to the hilltop Castle with all the grazing land around it is pretty awe inspiring.
