This painting represents a serene moment of the Mighty Edmund Fitzgerald sailing away. November 10, 2015 will mark the 40th anniversary of the sinking of the great ship in Lake Superior. The crew of 29 perished that night in the waves of a fierce storm. The original painting was created on a 16x20 piece of glass using Pebeo Vitrail paint. The painting has a beautiful blend of depth and transparency. (The original glass is mounted on foam core for added strength and then framed.)
