Description
My painting of the majestic and beautiful Sagrada Familia in Barcelona,Spain is hand painted in acrylic,ink and pastel on canvas. It was a commissioned work which I rarely undertake these days. However I am most grateful to Lucia for persuading me to paint this heavenly building. Although at first glance my painting appears to be impressionist, it is also intricately detailed and took weeks of concentrated effort to complete. I ended up with a very happy customer who purchased the original painting and a profoundly deep appreciation for this incredible building . I cannot wait to visit it again. The beauty of the architecture is simply awesome.( The FAA mark will not show on your purchase!)

Wonderful ecclesiastical building but also heavenly artwork Jane, which does more than justice to this great monument. I am absolutely aware that noone can paint it better than you do ... What makes me thoughtful is that exactly now members of the European Parliament are discussing and voting on a bill which shall abolish the Freedom of Panorama, which means that it will not be allowed to take photos or publish paintings of public art work or monuments with copyright as for example the Eiffel Tower by night, .. I hope so much that it will not come to this ...!! A. L/F
