Description
Sacred Dancing on Christmas Eve. Long ago the native peoples came to these waters to dance and greet each other. Now days the place has a new name, Lake McDonald. The name matters not for it is still spiritual and you still hear it in the winds, the words and cries and laughter of all who have gone before us.

Love the history of the area, but those snow-capped peaks and reflective waters would surely have anyone dancing a jig!!

I so agree. Such a beautiful and spiritual place one understands why they gathered here in celebration. I would too...in fact I still do.
